Pound the Pavement 5K, 10K Results

The Friends of the Wentzville Parks held the second Pound the Pavement 5K/10K race Saturday in conjunction with Wabash Days.

Greg Younger, president of the organization, said there were approximately 225 runners this year.

"That's about twice what we had last year and we hope to double that number for next year," he said.

The funds raised by the event go to improvements in parks.
