Three Arrested in Montee Ball Assault
The former Timberland football player was attacked in the early morning hours of Aug. 1 in Madison.
The early-morning August 1 attack in Madison, WI sent Ball to the hospital for two hours. .
According to ESPN, three men were arrested and face charges for battery. The men are Wendell J. Venerable, Deonte J. Wilson and Robert A. Wilks.

ESPN reported that
Police have said the attack may have been related to an altercation at a house party that Ball attended a few days earlier, though detectives say they have no evidence suggesting Ball was involved in that fight. The altercation is still being investigated, according to the police report.
