Football helmets and face masks were replaced by blue and pink hair ribbons for the 11th annual powderpuff football games held at Wednesday night. The sidelines featured male football players in their best cheerleading outfits that had the crowd roaring with every awkward twist and turn.
The night started with the senior girls shutting down the sophmores by a score of 6-0. The win earned them a spot in the Super Bowl against the juniors, who beat the freshman 12-0.
On the second play of the Super Bowl the juniors had a trick up their sleeves and ran a reverse to paydirt and a 6-0 lead. Neither squad could find the end zone for the rest of the game and the juniors claimed the Timberland Title, 6-0.

The night raised funds for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was followed by a spirit bonfire rally in the parking lot.
The events were part of Timberland's homecoming celebration which includes the homecoming game Friday night and a parade Saturday morning.
