Timberland's Clay Miller Signs NLI

To play baseball for Missouri Western State University.

Timberland High School senior Clay Miller has committed to play baseball for the Missouri Western State University Griffons. 

With his mother Sandy and his stepfather Matt by his side, the centerfielder signed his National Letter of Intent at . 

“It’s a great school for my major, I really like the coaches and the baseball program, and the facilities are fantastic,” said Miller.

As a sophomore he was an All-Conference selection, and over the past three years he has led the team in plate appearances, sacrifices, and stolen bases. Last year Miller helped the Wolves go undefeated in Conference play and win the Gateway Athletic Conference North title. As a two sport varsity athlete, he was also a starting defensive back and kick returner on the Timberland football team.

An avid outdoorsman, Miller plans on majoring in wildlife conservation and management at MWSU.
