Wentzville Timberland High SchoolDevan Richter, wrestling. Richter claimed a Class 4 state championship in the 113 pound weight class over the weekend by pinning William Erneste of Park Hill. Richter defeated Lawton Benna, of Holt High School in the semifinals; Cartland Allen, of Lee's Summit, in the quarterfinals; and Alexander Fisher, of CBC, in the first round.

Fort Zumwalt West High SchoolRyan Daugherty, boys basketball. in a 56-37 victory over Francis Howell North. Daugherty scored 13 points in the victory and the Jaguars improved to 9-15, 3-3 this season.

Duchesne High School: Alex Rohlfing, girls basketball. Rohlfing shot 8-of-18 from the floor, including two 3-pointers, en route to a game-high 18 point performance in the Pioneers' 77-44 win over Fort Zumwalt East on Feb. 16. Rohlfing also snatched five steals in the game. The Pioneers are 15-10, 4-2 this season.

Francis Howell Central High School: Edward Olson, ice hockey. Olson scored two goals in a 5-4 win over Duchesne High School to clinch a ticket in the Wickenheiser Cup semifinals. Olso scored an empty-netter with just 51.5 seconds remaining in a tied game to secure the win.
