5 Fun Competitions for Kids at the St. Charles County Fair

Enjoy some old-fashioned fun and games!

The St. Charles County Fair opens its season next week at Wentzville's Rotary Park. 

Most people know about the fair's big-time entertainment like the rodeo and the demolition derby. But did you know that the fair offers some fun competitions just for the kids? 

Come on out and let your kids experience some old-fashioned fun at the fair:

  1. Pig Scramble, 5:30 p.m., Friday, July 26.
  2. Frog and Turtle Races, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 27
  3. Nickel Scramble, 12 p.m., Saturday, July 27
  4. Sack Races, 12 p.m., Saturday, July 27
  5. Kids' Pedal Pull, 2 p.m., Saturday, July 27.
These games fill up fast, so consider registering online to make sure your youngster has a spot.
