George Castanza Available for Adoption

Check out these pets of the week.

George Catstanza has a lot of personality! He loves attention and is very sweet. He is great with kids and gets along with dogs, but would prefer a home without other cats. He is a good boy and always uses his litter box. George is a special needs adoption because he has Feline Leukemia. Please do some research about felv or feel free to call or stop by the shelter and ask the staff questions. Five Acres is open Tuesday through Friday 2-6pm and Saturday or Sunday noon-6pm.

is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare. We are the only no kill shelter in St. Charles County and rely completely on private support. We rescue and find homes for hundreds of dogs and cats every year. In addition to our adoption program, we have a humane education program and Animeals pet food pantry for low income pet owners. To learn more about our shelter visit www.fiveacresanimalshelter.org and follow us on Facebook.

Waylen is a very handsome shepherd/hound mix, he is roughly four years old. Poor Waylen ended up in a high kill shelter and sat in a cage all alone until his time was just about up. Waylen has great manners and would make a perfect family dog. He loves his people very much and will walk right over to you and put his paw on your legging begging for you to give him some love. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play fetch. He doesn't mind cats at all and would do perfect as a dog for older children. He has been neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative.
