Wentzville's Independence Day Parade has a new route this year.
The parade will now travel from Campus Drive (Holt High School), east on Pearce and ending at Resource Drive, where it will disband.
Staging is at Holt High School. Organizers are asking that participants enter Holt from Northview via Meyer Road. Parking is in the lot closest to the tennis courts.
- The Holt/Timberland High School Band is assembling at the Administration Building, which is on Campus Drive.
- The American Legion Color Guard will assemble next to the high school band, approximately at the Middle School.
- The Grand Marshal, mayor and aldermen and city judge as asked to assemble at the Holt High Parking Lot closest to the football field. Person vehicles should be parked in the parking lot closest to the tennis courts.
- Floats and parade entries should also park in the lot near the tennis courts.
