Love Kids? Love Horses? Volunteer at Therapeutic Horsemanship

Volunteers are also needed for office work and special projects.

Therapeutic Horsemanship (TH) in Wentzville relies on its 300 volunteers to provide horse-aided physical therapy in programs that range from riding lessons to competitions to summer camps.

Volunteers can:

  • Work with clients, horses, and staff as side walkers, leaders or horse handlers.
  • Perform general office work, such as answering the phone, data entry, filing and assisting with projects.
  • Help with barn task such as cleaning stalls and cleaning tack.
  • Assist at a special events and serve on event committees.
  • Donate professional expertise.
Groups can volunteer together, and the TH staff will help organize a project. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
