Restore St. Charles is an organization that helps community members with properties in need of repairs. Volunteers work to restore homes and properties owned by people who are unable to make the repairs themselves. Projects range from putting in wheelchair ramps to scraping peeling paint to remodeling bathrooms. Find out how you can help with these projects.
We Love St. Charles connects volunteers with opportunities to serve in the city of St. Charles. The group is holding a 5k race Sept. 28 in DuSable Park to raise funds for the organization. Learn more here.
Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County is a housing ministry that builds affordable homes for people who make between 30 and 60 percent of the median income. The organization works with community volunteers to build homes alongside the homeowners. The group is having its first rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28 in the parking lot of BCI at 200 Trade Center Drive West, St. Peters, 63376. Learn more here.
