Volunteers Needed to Provide Library Services to Homebound Seniors
Home Visit Specialists may read to seniors as well as helping them order items from the library.
The St. Charles City-County Library District offers services to homebound seniors through its Books 2 You program.
Home Visit Specialist volunteers provide personal home delivery and other library items to homebound seniors.
Responsibilities are assigned from the Library District's Administration Offices at 77 Boone Hills Drive in St. Peters.

Home Visit Specialists are asked to:
- Deliver library services to homebound individuals in the community
- Read out loud to seniors that are unable to read on their own
- Works with Books 2 You Volunteer Manager to order requested items for homebound individuals
- Helps collect information/registration cards from assigned community partner locations
