Ball, the Football Bowl Subdivision's all-time leading touchdown scorer, is one of the top running back's in this year's draft class. But with a draft class rich with defensive talent, Ball's draft prospects could have him being selected in the second round or later.  According to the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, Ball is widely viewed as a respected, valued player that seems likely to be …

Team USA will play Team Italy Saturday, March 9 at 8 p.m. CST. Ross Detwiler, a Wentzville Holt High School-graduate, is slated to pitch in relief.

Ross Detwiler, a Wentzville-native and graduate of Wentzville Holt High School, is set to pitch Saturday in the World Baseball Classic for Team USA.  Detwiler, the left-handed starting pitcher who figures to play a key role in the Washington Nationals' success this season, was named to the United States' roster for the once-every-four-year tournament on Feb. 19. Holt Wins Mid-States' Wick Cup Championship Over Duchesne

Sophomore forward Corbin Foppe scored with just 49 seconds remaining in the game to give the Holt Indians a 4-3 win over Duchesne in the Mid States Wickenheiser Cup championship game.

It’s been an up and down season for the Wentzville Holt High School hockey team, but the Indians made it count late in the season and rode a hot streak all the way to their second Wickenheiser Cup championship in three years. Sophomore sensation Corbin Foppe scored the game-winning goal with just 49.5 seconds remaining in the game. Foppe's second goal of the game broke a 3-3 tie that had stood since 10 seconds into the second period. Foppe took a long pass from Holt senior forward Austin Mossengren right on his tape before rushing in all alone on the left side and sneaking a wriste shot short side on Duchesne goalie Ted Bunton for the go-ahead goal. Just seconds later, the Indians were raising Mid-States High School Hockey League hardware …

Timberland High School graduate, Montee Ball, is looking to prove himself over the next few days (2/23-2/26) at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. For the past four years, Ball has been a running back for the Wisconsin Badgers, where he ran for 5,140 yards on 924 carries and 77 touchdowns.
