Robert Taylor, 23, of Wentzville was pronounced dead on the scene at about 11:30 Wednesday night.
A Wentzville man was killed on Hwy. N late Wednesday night when his car ran off the road and hit a tree, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Robert D. Taylor, 23, was driving a 1999 Hyundai Sonata eastbound on Hwy. N just west of South Point Prairie Road. His car left the roadway when he was unable to negotiate a curve and he overcorrected, going into the westbound lanes and off the road. The car hit a tree and overturned. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a safety belt.

The driver lost control and hit a sign and a tree late Saturday.
A one-car crash on Interstate 64 Saturday night injured the driver and three occupants of the car, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. A 2009 Nissan Armada driven by Johnson Do, 38, of Wentzville, was eastbound on I-64 west of Research Park. At 10:18 p.m., the driver lost control of the SUV and ran off the right side of the roadway. The car then struck a speed limit sign and a tree. Do and a passenger, Ahn H. Phan, 28, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Two other occupants, Cici Doan, 33, of Wentzville, and Travis Doan, 6, also of Wentzville, received minor injuries. All of the car's occupants were transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. David Geisel and Diana Geisel sustained minor injuries in the accident.
David Geisel, 47, of Wentzville, was driving a 1989 Corvette northbound on Hwy. Z on January 19 when the vehicle was involved in an accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. At 11:10 a.m., the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway south of Buckner Road and struck a fence. Geisel and his passenger Diana Geisel, 41, sustained minor injuries in the accident and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. Both were wearing safety belts. The Corvette was totaled and towed from the scene.

The accident happened on Route MM in Lincoln County.
Paige O. Wood, 22, of Wentzville, was injured Tuesday afternoon when the car she was riding in struck a backhoe, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported. Charles C. Watkins, 32, of Troy was driving the backhoe southbound on Route MM south of Route C in Lincoln County when he made a left turn into a parking lot around 3 p.m. A 2005 Dodge Ram driven by Benjamin C. Holbrook, 24, of Moscow Mills, in which Wood was a passenger, attempted to pass the backhoe on the left side. The pickup struck the backhoe on the left side and then traveled off the roadway. The accident on Route F in New Melle sent two men to the hospital.
A Moscow Mills man was seriously injured Wednesday morning when he was struck by a pickup truck, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported. Nicholas C. Taylor, 32, of Moscow Mills, was standing outside a 2010 Freightliner that was parked on Route F in New Melle at 9:43 on Jan. 8. Calvin D. Stacker, 64, of Defiance, was eastbound on Route F in a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup. Stacker failed to see the parked vehicle and struck Taylor. Taylor was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. Stacker suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to Mercy Hospital. He was not wearing a safety belt.

Both vehicles were exiting from I-270 onto I-70.
On Thursday, Nov 29 at 3:30 p.m, two Wentzville drivers who were northbound on I-270 in St. Louis County were involved in an accident. Ashley N. Foti, 20, was driving a 1993 Honda Accord behind a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Isidro C. Miranda, 20, as the cars were exiting onto westbound I-70. Foti was inattentive, according to the the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, and struck the rear of Miranda's Pontiac. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to DePaul Hospital by ambulance. Miranca was wearing a seat belt but Foti was not. Both cars sustained moderate damage.

Christopher A. Trowler, received minor injuries in the one-car accident.
Christopher A. Trowler, 20, of Wentzville sustained minor injuries in an accident on Hwy. N on Sat., Nov 24. Trowler was eastbound on Hwy. N a half mile west of Hwy. Z at 2:15 a.m. when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and came to a stop in a driveway. Trowler was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. His 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was totaled in the crash. Trowler was not wearing a safety belt, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Corey J. Webb, 20, of Wentzville, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Corey J. Webb, 20, of Wentzville, was westbound on Interstate 64 in St. Louis City Saturday morning when he fell asleep at the wheel of his 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Webb was just east of McCausland at 5:12 a.m. When Webb dozed off, the vehicle traveled off the roadway, hit a guardrail and overturned. Both Webb and a passenger in the car, Andrew D. Smartt, 22, of O'Fallon, received minor injuries, and both were transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Neither was wearing a safety belt. Webb's Monte Carlo was totalled in the crash.

According to KSDK, Brelynn Britton was driving southbound on Route T when his car went off the road and slammed into a tree.
An O'Fallon man is hospitalized after his car crashed into a tree on Tuesday night. According to KSDK, Brelynn Britton, 27, was driving southbound on Route T, near New Melle, around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when his car went off the road. KSDK reports Britton's car slammed into a tree and he was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. The arrest took place at 3:05 a.m. Sunday in St. Charles County. Winterringer was placed in the St. Charles County Jail on a 12-hour hold.
