May Children's Programs at SCCC Libraries Offer Stories, Crafts and Fun

You can meet the famous "Froggy" at many area libraries this month!

National Children's Book Week is May 2 - May 8. The St. Charles City-Country Library District suggests that you celebrate it by reading books as a family. Check out the wide variety of children's programming available at the St. Charles City-County Library District's branch libraries in May. Keep in mind that many of these programs have limits on the numbers of participants. Register early! Check with the individual libraries for more information. Holt Deca Students Hold Successful Spring Fling

The Holt DECA students, with help from marketing students, National Honor Society and Student Council members, put on a wonderful event for area children.

Whiz Kids: Holt DECA students (DECA is an international organization of students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service.) School: Wentzville Holt High School Accomplishment: The Spring Fling is DECA's main fundraiser for national competition and scholarships. This year's event, moved inside because of the stormy weather, was a smashing success. The students worked hard at ticket tables, manning booths and games and setting up Easter Egg hunts. Congratulations on a job well done! We'd like to give a special mention to two Lake Saint Louis DECA students, Kat Thompson and Stevie Pontello.
