Three-year-old dog named 'Dollar' loves running in the yard.
Dollar is a 3-year-old pit shepherd mix. He is so sweet and loving and would do great in a home with kids. Dollar is potty trained and has good manners. He got his name because he was so hungry when a volunteer found him that he ate dollar rolls meant for the geese. He would do best as an only pet and needs a fenced in yard. He enjoys running in the yard and going for walks. Come meet him Tuesday – Friday 2-6 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday noon-6 p.m. Five Acres Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Looking to add something four-footed and furry to your family? Heartland Humane Society and Five Acres Animal Shelter have lots of dogs and cats just waiting for a forever home like yours.

"Baby," a 4-year-old tuxedo cat, is available at Five Acres Animal Shelter.
Five Acres Animal Shelter: Baby is about a 4-year-old gray and white tuxedo cat. Her owner has a life threatening illness and she had to seek help with rehoming Baby. The shelter was able to help this woman with a very hard decision. In the process of doing a blood test they found Baby was FIV positive. She is an adorable loving cat that needs a quiet home to call her own again. Baby has the biggest purr motor when you pet her. If you can help Baby by giving her the kind of loving home she is so deserving of, stop by the shelter to meet her. Five Acres Animal Shelter is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare. We are …
