Bankruptcy judge approves the sale of Darain Atkinson's $27 million mansion for less than $5 million.
No one knows exactly how much creditors are owed on the construction of the yet unfinished mansion in Lake Saint Louis owned until recently by Darain Atkinson and his wife Mia. But by the looks of things, many won't be getting paid any time soon. The co-founder of the now bankrupt US Fidelis will be selling the mansion through the bankruptcy court for the $4.7 million bid made last month by Harold Lewis under the 5 Lakeview Acquisition Group name. The price is a far cry from the $26.7 million it cost to build or even the $14.9 million Atkinson asked for back in April. The property is listed with Dielman Sotheby's International Realty and Coldwell Banker Gundaker. Lewis, the winning bidder, has been the president of National Sports …
