Races shape up for St. Charles County Council race as filings closed Monday for the August primary.
Filings closed Monday for the St. Charles County Council elections with opposed races in each district. In District 2, Republican incumbent Joe Brazil will run in the primary against Republican Bob Stephens, who owns Compare Automotive Muffler on Swantnerville Drive in Wentzville. District 4 Council incumbent Paul Wynn will face a Republican challenger in Dave Hammond, formerly chief building inspector for St. Charles County. Michael Lloyd Boyd is unopposed in the Democratic primary for District 4 and will run in November against the winner of the Republican primary in August.
