The accident occurred on westbound Interstate 70 during rush-hour traffic Friday.
Three drivers from Wentzville, Lake Saint Louis and O'Fallon were involved in a three-car chain-reaction accident Friday on Interstate 70. Linda E. Parr, 45, of Lake Saint Louis, was stopped for traffic in her 2001 GMC Yukon at 4:25 p.m. Friday. Behind her, a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Tamala D. Tramble, 43, of Wentzville slowed for the congestion. A 2002 Ford F150 pickup driving by Rob B. Chatman, 21, of O'Fallon, was following too closely behind Tramble, reported the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Chatman's truck struck the rear of Tramble's Pontiac, which in turn struck the back of Parr's vehicle. According to KSDK, Brelynn Britton was driving southbound on Route T when his car went off the road and slammed into a tree.
An O'Fallon man is hospitalized after his car crashed into a tree on Tuesday night. According to KSDK, Brelynn Britton, 27, was driving southbound on Route T, near New Melle, around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when his car went off the road. KSDK reports Britton's car slammed into a tree and he was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. The arrest took place at 3:05 a.m. Sunday in St. Charles County. Winterringer was placed in the St. Charles County Jail on a 12-hour hold.

A Foley man was injured in the crash.
Richard A. Bauer, 47, of Wentzville, was westbound on Highway 47 in Lincoln County Tuesday morning in a Peterbilt truck when he was involved in a two-car accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. A 2009 Subaru Forester driven by Carl L. Anderson, 63, of Foley, was southbound on Route EE. Anderson failed to yield to Bauer, and the truck struck the front left of the Subaru. Anderson sustained minor injuries and was transported by Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. Anderson was wearing a safety belt. His vehicle was totaled in the crash. Bauer was uninjured, and his truck sustained moderate damage.

Doris A. Norman of Wentzville and Larkin C. Bennet of Old Monroe were the drivers of the two vehicles in Saturday's crash on Hwy. 79.
Doris A. Norman, 76, of Wentzville, was southbound on Hwy. 79 at T.R. Hughes Boulevard Saturday afternoon when she failed to yield to another vehicle. The front of Norman's 2012 Mazda 3 struck the rear of a 2012 Ford Escape driven by Larkin C. Bennet, 55, of Old Monroe. Bennet sustained minor injuries in the accident and was transported by ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported. Bennet was wearing a safety belt. Norman, who was also wearing a safety belt, was not injured.

Patricia J. Lacroix was eastbound on I-64 in heavy traffic Tuesday morning.
Lavern D. Passmore, 75, of Camden Point, MO was eastbound on I-64 in heavy traffic Tuesday morning. Passmore, driving a 2010 Chevy Cobalt, was following too close and did not notice that traffic was stopped ahead of him, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Passmore's Chevy struck the rear of a 2010 Mazda 6 driven by Wesley McVey, 33, of Troy. McVey, in turn, struck the back of a 2012 Jeep Laredo driven by Patricia J. Lacroix, 62, of Lake Saint Louis. Lacrois sustained moderate injuries and was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. She was wearing a safety belt. McVey and Passmore were not injured in the collisions, although both their vehicles were extensively damaged. Lacroix's Jeep received minor damage.

Samantha A. Chandler, 17, of Wentzville was northbound on Bryan Road Thursday just after 6 p.m. when she attempted to turn onto the westbound I-70 entrance ramp. Chandler failed to yield to a vehicle being driven by Taylor A Ochs, 19, of Defiance. The front of Ochs' 2001 Mitsubishi Galant stuck the side of Chandler's 1997 Toyota Avalon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Ochs received minor injuries in the accident and was transported by ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. He was wearing a safety belt. Chandler was not injured. Chandler's car was totaled, while Ochs' was extensively damaged.

Sherry Breakfield of Wentzville was stuck by an unknown vehicle.
Sherry R. Breakfield, 36, was eastbound on I-70 west of Hwy. 61 on Wed., Aug. 29 when the the 1995 Plymouth Neon she was driving was stuck by an unknown vehicle at 1:41 p.m. Breakfield struck a 1998 Kenworth tractor driven by William T. Reynolds, 41, of Fredericktown, MO. Breakfield then struck the median wall. Breakfield received moderate injuries in the accident. A passenger in her car, Adam W. Miller, 37, of Foley, was seriously injured. Both were transported by ambulance to Mercy-Creve Coeur. Reynolds was not injured, and there was minor damage to the Kenworth. Breakfield's Neon was totaled. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that both drivers and the passenger were wearing safety belts.

Glenna Head was westbound near Route N before she lost control of the car.
Glenna L. Head, 26, of Wentzville received minor injuries in a one-car accident on I-64 Tuesday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Head was westbound on I-64 east of Route N when she lost control of her vehicle. It traveled off the right hand side of the road, striking the guardrail, then back into the roadway. The vehicle then crossed the westbound lanes, went through the median and into the eastbound lanes. The car went back into the median and came to rest. Head was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. She was not wearing a safety belt. Her car, a 2004 Kia Optima, received moderate damage.

Sabrina K. Frey was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur for her injuries.
Sabrina K. Frey, 33, of Wentzville was seriously injured in a one-car accident Wednesday morning, Aug. 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Frey was driving a 1997 Dodge Dakota eastbound on Route N west of Klaas Lane at 10:20 a.m. Frey was unable to stay in the traffic lane and traveled off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then went through a fence and struck a tree. Frey was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County EMS. She was not wearing a safety belt.
