Ten Ways to Make New Friends for the Holidays
There's no need to be lonely this time of the year when there are so many fun ways to bring new people into your life!
Volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen. You'll find like-minded people thriving in the spirit of giving. Some examples to check out are the St. Louis Area Food Bank, Circle of Concern or Union Food Pantry. Form a caroling group and sing the night away! Check with the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association to see if there is a group caroling in a neighborhood near you. Or maybe you have a few acquaintances you'd like to get to know better. If none of you can sing, you can always head out to The Meadows where they will have professional carolers along with free hot cocoa and complimentary horse-drawn carriages.
