A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy said Mathew Charleville kicked him and tried to bite a second deputy while he was handcuffed in a patrol car.
A St. Charles County man is accused of kicking and trying to bite St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies who arrested him on an outstanding warrant. Mathew Charleville, 25, of the 100 block of Pinto Circle near Dardenne Prairie, was charged April 4 with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said he had arrested Charleville on a warrant for a probation violation, handcuffed him and put in the back of the patrol vehicle. The deputy said as he talked to another person, Charleville began banging his head on the Plexiglass partition inside the patrol car. A Foristell man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury after being accused of performing a sex act on a sleeping man. Nathaniel Dickherber, 23, of the 10200 block of Forest Trails in Foristell, is charged with deviate sexual assault. St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies said a group of people gathered in the 1300 block of Josephville Road in Josephville Feb. 2 to play cards. Deputies said there was casual drinking throughout the night and all parties went to bed. A Wentzville man told investigators he was asleep on a couch and awoke about 6:15 a.m. Feb. 3 to find Dickherber performing a sex act on him. A 32-year-old man faces his fifth charge of driving while intoxicated after he could not complete a sobriety test because he could not stand up, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report. Sean M. Herod, 32, of the 10100 block of Schultz in Foristell, was charged with DWI as a chronic offender, a class B felony. Nine days after Herod successfully completed probation for two DWI convictions in 2006, St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Herod over for driving erratically on Highway 94 near Westwood Drive just east of Weldon Spring. An Arizona woman faces criminal charges after officers discovered drugs in her car following a traffic stop. Karla Palacios, of Tempe, AZ, was charged Feb. 5 with delivering a controlled substance and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Palacios’ car over on westbound Interstate 70 at the 205 mile marker for multiple traffic violations. The deputy said the woman showed signs of extreme nervousness during the traffic stop and a K-9 unit was called in. The dog alerted on the trunk. A father and daughter assaulted two St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies Friday on westbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 204, according to a report. Francisco Ramon, 42, of Denver, and his daughter, Francine Becerra, 21, of Belleville, IL, each were charged Monday with assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. A Denver man was caught transporting 30 pounds of high-grade marijuana on Interstate 70 Sunday, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report. A sheriff’s deputy pulled over Justin R. Hulet, 34, of Denver, over for failing to use a turn signal on eastbound I-70 at the 205 mile marker near Wentzville. The deputy reported he noticed Hulet was trembling and stuttering, and seemed to get increasingly nervous during the stop. A St. Charles County man faces a criminal charge for calling and threatening a woman after she obtained an order of protection against him. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy said Terry Lynn Hall, 50, of the 900 block of Dyer Road southwest of Wentzville, called the woman while he was present, and Hall threatened her life. The deputy reported Hall telling the woman, “You better dig your (expletive) grave, (expletive), (expletive) with me like this.” Hall also told the woman he knew she was at a friend’s house “because I drove by and looked through the window and saw you,” the deputy wrote in a report. A Wentzville area man is being charged with unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and assaulting a law enforcement officer with injury. According to a St. Charles County Sheriff's Department deputy’s report, Frank C. Nagle, 54, of Jackson Oaks Court just southwest of Wentzville, drove across a lawn in the 2800 block of Jackson Road. Nagle's vehicle, the report said, left eight-inch deep ruts that were 15 feet long in his next-door neighbor’s lawn. Nagle allegedly stopped in the yard and confronted the homeowner, and threatened him. He then opened a pocket knife with a four-inch blade and held it about a foot from the man’s chest and said, “I’ll cut your head off,” according to the report.
