Drunk Man Choked, Threatened to Kill Girlfriend, Deputy Says

James Swint, 41, of St. Charles County, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.

A Wentzville man faces a felony charge after St. Charles County deputies said he choked and threatened to kill his girlfriend. James Burton Swint, 41, of the 1400 block of Prospect Lakes Drive in St. Charles County between Wentzville and Lake Saint Louis, was charged Monday with second-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s reported that Swint hit, pushed, threw and choked his girlfriend at the couple’s home Saturday. The deputy wrote in a report that Swint was “extremely intoxicated.” At one point, Swint grabbed the woman by the neck, choked her and said, “You (expletive) up. Man Hit 91-Year-Old Grandmother, Refused to Let Her Use Phone, Deputy Says

A St. Charles County man is accused of assaulting his 91-year-old grandmother and denying her access to a telephone so she could call her daughter for help. Law officials said Lovelace threatened to kill his grandmother and other family members if police were notified of the incident. Daniel Lovelace, 37, of the 1700 block of Schwede Road in St. Charles County near the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation area, was charged Feb. 6 with third-degree domestic assault. Man Slammed Mother Against Concrete Wall, Police Say

A 17-year-old St. Charles County man threw his mother into a concrete wall Jan. 20. Dalton O. Kingsley-Collins, 17, of the 2600 block of Lenee Lane in unincorporated St. Charles County south of Wentzville, was charged Jan. 22 with third-degree domestic assault, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug-related items. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said witnesses verified that Kingsley-Collins threw his mother into a concrete wall and she fell on the floor. The deputy said his mother’s face was injured and swollen. A search of the teen’s bedroom revealed marijuana and a scale with marijuana residue, according to the court documents. Wentzville Tattoo Shop Owner Sentenced to 20 Years on 23 Charges

The former Wentzville businessman installed a hidden camera in a unisex restroom at the shop, which led to a myriad of charges against the owner.

A former Wentzville tattoo shop owner was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison. The man. Bruce Hymes, 42, of Wentzville, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to 19 charges and no contest to four more charges. Circuit Court Judge Jon A. Cunningham sentenced Hymes Monday. Hymes first was arrested in August 2011 after an employee at Full Moon Studios, 1433 Wentzville Parkway, found a video camera hidden in an air duct in a restroom used by employees and customers. When the employee confronted Hymes, the tattoo parlor owner began pulling the camera and wires out of the duct. He pleaded no contest to the invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence charges, as well as third-degree domestic assault and one count of unlawful use of a weapon. Hymes pleaded…

Man Kicks His Father in the Chest; Dad Has Pacemaker

A Lake Saint Louis man attacked two family members Friday, police said.

A 44-year-old man beat two family members Friday, repeatedly kicking his father—who has a pacemaker—in the face and chest, police said. Lake Saint Louis Police said that Richard Perry Jr., 44, of the 400 block of Oak Place in Lake Saint Louis, walked up to his sister and punched her in the chest. He then pushed his father over a barbecue grill onto a concrete driveway, according to court documents. His sister told police that Peery then kicked his father in the chest about 20 times and punched him in the face. When his sister tried to stop him, Peery hit her in the throat with his forearm, she told police. Peery’s father gave police the same account. Man Charged with Two Assaults on Wife

The man faces two counts of domestic assault, one in February and another in April.

A St. Charles County man was charged Monday with assaulting his wife at Wapelhorst Park in St. Charles and at the couple's home. Steven Boyer, 42, of the 2900 block of Trapper Trail Drive north of Wentzville, faces two counts of third-degree domestic assault. St. Charles Police said in a report that Boyer “grabbed, twisted and shoved” his wife Feb. 23 at Wapelhorst Park at 1875 Muegge Road. A St. Charles County prosecutor said in a complaint statement that Boyer grabbed his wife by the neck and “threw her around within the residence” April 30 at the couple’s home near Wentzville. Woman Charged with Attacking Ex-Girlfriend, Another Woman and Cop

Police said the suspect tried to stab one woman and then kicked an officer.

A woman is accused of attacking her ex-girlfriend and trying to stab another woman Saturday in Lake Saint Louis. Lubov Ann Griessel, of St. Peters, was charged Sunday with third-degree domestic assault, third-degree assault and assaulting a police officer. According to the police report, Griessel assaulted one woman by punching her three times in the head and then grabbing a four-inch kitchen knife and attempting to stab her. Police also said she punched her ex-girlfriend in the head three times, kicked her in the head and struck her head with a door.
