Foristell Man's Fifth DWI Comes Nine Days After Completing Probation

Sean M. Herod had been convicted in 2006 of two DWIs within three days of each other.

A 32-year-old man faces his fifth charge of driving while intoxicated after he could not complete a sobriety test because he could not stand up, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report. Sean M. Herod, 32, of the 10100 block of Schultz in Foristell, was charged with DWI as a chronic offender, a class B felony. Nine days after Herod successfully completed probation for two DWI convictions in 2006, St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Herod over for driving erratically on Highway 94 near Westwood Drive just east of Weldon Spring. The deputy tried to administer a sobriety test, but said Herod could not complete it “due to an inability to stand up.” Herod refused a Breathalyzer test and officials obtained a search …

Lake Saint Louis Man Arrested for DWI, Leaving the Scene

Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Richard A. Winterringer, 24, of Lake Saint Louis, was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. The arrest took place at 3:05 a.m. Sunday in St. Charles County. Winterringer was placed in the St. Charles County Jail on a 12-hour hold.

Man Arrested in Wentzville for DWI, Assaulting Officers

Motorist was pulled over Tuesday and began struggling with officers after failing a sobriety test.

A man was arrested Tuesday in Wentzville and charged with driving while intoxicated, assaulting police officers who tried to arrest him, resisting arrest and driving while his license was revoked. According to court documents, a Wentzville police officer saw the driver Richard E. Jones, 26, stop past the white lines on flashing red lights twice while driving on Wentzville Parkway near Luetkenhaus Boulevard. The officer also wrote that Jones had trouble staying in his lane. After Jones was pulled over, he told the officer he had no license and no proof of insurance, according to the officer’s written statement. He failed a sobriety test, and the officer estimated a blood-alcohol level at .08 percent or higher based on Jones’ performance. …
