Ricky Coppedge had 83.62 grams of pseudoephedrine hidden under his car hood and 13 grams of meth hidden in his dashboard, according to a court document.
A Greenville, MO man was arrested Feb. 28 in an ongoing investigation into buying pseudoephedrine for methamphetamine production. Ricky Coppedge, 32, of Greenville, MO was charged March 31 by the St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to make meth. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said they stopped Coppedge in the 1300 block of Forest Way in Wentzville as he was buying pseudoephedrine from a third party for $100. Officers also found a knotted plastic bag in his pocket that contained one gram of meth. A woman who told police she was in town to face drug charges attempted to steal narcotics from SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis Dec. 2. Lake Saint Louis Police said a witness saw Jessica Puglisi, 25, breaking into a crash cart at the hospital and taking 15 vials of various medications, putting them in her purse and bra. Puglisi was charged Monday with misdemeanor theft. Her last known address was in the 2300 block of Oak Brook Drive in O’Fallon. Puglisi told police she had come back to town from Los Angeles to appear in court to face drug charges. Police searched her purse and found a glass pipe and paperclip, each with residue. Two brothers and a woman face drug and gun charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives searched their Wentzville homes Nov. 20. During a narcotics investigation, Drug Task Force detectives found a loaded pistol, spoons and numerous plastic bags with heroin residue in Fabrian Jones and Tunison’s residence, according to a report. Fabrian Jones is not allowed to own a firearm due to a conviction for distributing and possessing controlled substances in 2011. He was given a suspended sentence in the 2011 conviction. Jones also was wanted in Berkeley for filing a false police report. A Wentzville man faces a drug-dealing charge after detectives said he sold cocaine to an undercover officer with the St. Charles County Drug Task Force. Zakary S. Zorich, 35, of the 200 block of John Charles Drive in Wentzville, was charged Sept. 21 with distributing a controlled substance. Detectives said Zorich obtained and delivered more than 150 grams of cocaine. According to a Drug Task Force report, he arranged with an informant to deliver 6 grams of cocaine for cash to an address in the 2000 block of Coreywood Drive in St. Charles. When he arrived, he was arrested and had 6 grams of cocaine in his pocket. According to the police report, Zorich told detectives he would have sold the cocaine for $1,425 per ounce, a total of $8,550. …

Dale A. Lenze, 53, and Kyle W. Green, 24, were indicted by a St. Charles grand jury Sept. 14 on first-degree arson, making methamphetamine and charges. Lenze also was indicted on a meth possession charge. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said a meth lab exploded in Lenze’s barn Sept. 3 in the 2400 block of Branch Lane in St. Charles County southwest of Wentzville. A woman’s legs and feet were severely burned and the barn caught fire. Lenze told detectives he saw the fire in the upper portion of the barn and heard the woman “screaming in agonizing pain.” He also told detectives he allowed Green and the woman stay in living quarters and make meth in the barn in exchange for a portion of finished meth. A St. Charles County man was charged July 24 in with attempting distribute heroin and illegal possession of several prescription drugs. Laron Miller, 33, of the 100 block of Oakfield Drive in St. Charles County in the Lake Saint Louis area, faces one count of attempting to distribute heroin and four counts of possession of illegal possession of prescription medications. According to a St. Charles County Drug Task Force report, detectives executing a search warrant found Miller had several controlled substances: Drug Task Force members said Harris also had a blender, scales, capsules, pips and plastic bags all used to sell or use heroin. A Lake Saint Louis teenager was charged Friday with selling prescription medication to an undercover officer. Bryce Atkinson, 17, of the first block of St. Malo Court in Lake Saint Louis, faces two charges of selling Vyvanse, a controlled substance typically prescribed to control Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A St. Charles County Drug Task Force report reads that Atkinson sold Vyvanse to an undercover officer twice, once on July 16 and again on July 19 at 11400 South Service Road in Lake Saint Louis. On each occasion, the officer paid Atkinson $40 for the medication, according to the report. The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department seized about 60 pounds of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near Wentzville. A St. Charles County deputy pulled over a pickup truck for a traffic stop at about 9:17 p.m. Sunday on eastbound I-70 at the 205 mile marker. A sheriff’s department report said that during a consensual and probable cause search, officers found a hidden compartment in the rear of the pickup with 37 packages of high-grade marijuana. Lt. Craig McGuire, of the Sheriff’s Department, said there was about 60 pounds of marijuana. The driver, Phillip L. In two months, the Lake Saint Louis woman sold prescription medication to two undercover officers.
A Lake Saint Louis woman was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday for selling her prescription medication. Kimber L. West, 19, of the 5700 block of Lake Saint Louis Boulevard, is charged with selling her Vyvanse medication to an undercover officer April 3. In February, West was charged with selling her medication on seven occasions to an undercover officer from November through March, according to a St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force report. Detectives said West contacted the undercover officer to sell him her Vyvanse medication. She said her boyfriend was in jail in St. Ann and needed money to bail him out. She agreed to sell him four doses of Vyvanse and half her prescription when she refilled it for $270, …
