Tamra Williams, 51, was injured in the crash that took the life of a Troy man on Saturday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a Lake Saint Louis woman was involved in a crash in Lincoln County on Saturday, Aug. 4. Tamra L. Williams, 51, of Lake Saint Louis was northbound on Route H in Lincoln County at 6 p.m. Saturday evening when she attempted to avoid an unknown vehicle in the lane of traffic. Williams lost control of her 1993 Ford Explorer, crossed the center lane and struck a 1992 Chevy S10 driven by Thomas G. Dames of Troy, who was traveling southbound. After being struck head-on by the Ford Explorer, Dames' vehicle went off the right side of the road and overturned. Dames was pronounced dead en route to Mercy Medical Center by EMS personnel. The car's driver, Emily B. Herberger of Foristell, was killed in the one-car crash.
Emily B. Herberger, 16, of Foristell, died Monday night after a crash on Highway N. Alivia A. Nolting, 16, of Wentzville, a passenger in the car, was injured. Nolting was wearing a seat belt. Herberger was not. Herberger was driving a 2010 Chevy Camaro westbound on Highway N east of Ellerman Oaks Drive at 11:09 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. The vehicle exited the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox, overturned and struck a roadway sign. It then crossed back over the road and left the roadway on the right side before coming to rest upright. Herberger was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Charles County EMS personnel. Nolting was taken to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West with moderate injuries.

An 82-year-old man from Dardenne Prairie died Tuesday after suffering a medical condition while driving on Interstate 70 near the Mid Rivers Mall Drive exit.
An 82-year-old Dardenne Prairie man died Tuesday afternoon after he suffered a medical condition behind the wheel of his car while driving near the intersection of Interstate 70 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Eugene Johnson was driving westbound on I-70, just east of the Mid Rivers Mall Drive exit, when he suffered the medical condition, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Johnson then veered off the highway and hit the right side concrete median before his car came to a stop on the right shoulder. He was pronounced dead at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters at 2:02 p.m. The medical condition that the man suffered was not immediately known.

Traffic was backed up for miles Saturday after pedestrian was struck on the road.
A Chesterfield man walking along Interstate 70 near Wentzville was killed Saturday after being struck by a truck. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4 p.m. Saturday just east of the 205 mile marker on I-70. A 2005 Freighliner truck, driven by Timothy C. Aldridge, 46, of Camilla, GA, was heading eastbound on I-70 when a pedestrian walked into the path of the truck. The pedestrian, Christopher P. Grimes, 49, Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel. His body was taken to the St. Louis County Morgue. The driver of the truck was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.

Accident was Saturday on Route Z.
A woman was killed Saturday in a one-vehicle accident on Route Z. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. April 7 on northbound Route Z, just south of Peruque Ridge. Jessica M. Troutman, 35, Wentzville, was driving her 2000 Dodge Caravan on northbound Route Z. The vehicle traveled off the side of the right side of the road and struck a post. The front of the van struck a curb and became airborne. The front left of the vehicle impacted the ground and overturned, partially ejecting Troutman, the report stated. The Caravan came to rest on its top. Troutman was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS officials, the report stated, and her body was taken by Lonning Mortuary Service to the St. Louis County …
