Drug Task Force Busts Two Brothers and Girlfriend In Wentzville

Detectives said the two brothers had been subjects in a narcotics investigation.

Two brothers and a woman face drug and gun charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives searched their Wentzville homes Nov. 20. During a narcotics investigation, Drug Task Force detectives found a loaded pistol, spoons and numerous plastic bags with heroin residue in Fabrian Jones and Tunison’s residence, according to a report. Fabrian Jones is not allowed to own a firearm due to a conviction for distributing and possessing controlled substances in 2011. He was given a suspended sentence in the 2011 conviction. Jones also was wanted in Berkeley for filing a false police report. Wentzville Police Asking for Help Locating White Van

The van was driven by two men who attempted to speak to teenage girls in the Wentzville area.

(The following press release was issued by the Wentzville Police Department.) The Wentzville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in investigating several incidents of two males in a white van, who were attempting to speak to teenage girls in the area of Peine Lake Estates. The incidents occurred on or about August 21, 2012, and the police have been able to determine that one or more persons witnessed this vehicle in the area on possibly more than one occasion. The van is described as a WHITE older model (late 80’s early 90’s) Dodge full-sized panel van (no side windows in the back portion) with significant dents, dings, and damage, especially in the front grill area, and with a very loud exhaust system.  Another …

Aldermen Release Executive Session Minutes on Mayor Investigation

Mayor Lambi says, "I have nothing to hide, so I'm not hiding."

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen released minutes from three executive session meetings regarding a conflict of interest investigation on Mayor Paul Lambi. City Attorney Paul Rost redacted the minutes, and the released minutes were approved by the aldermen following a late-night executive session Wednesday. But the minutes as redacted by Rost give little information if any, regarding the reason for an investigation into a check from the city to Westplex Local Organizing Committee, or allegations of conflict of interest against Lambi. The mayor was an unpaid board member of Westplex LOC. The redacted minutes accompany this article. Warrant Issued in Christmas Eve Shooting

Wentzville man charged with first-degree assault.

A warrant was issued today in connection with a shooting Friday morning. According to the St. Charles County Circuit Court's Criminal Division, the arrest warrant charges Paul J. Morrison, 44, of Wentzville, with first-degree assault.  Morrison was already in the St. Charles County Jail, having turned himself into police Friday. According to Lt. Craig McGuire of the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, Morrison gave investigators a statement implicating himself in the crime.
