Home Depot Employee Was a 'Changed' Woman A Ballwin woman was charged March 21 with stealing more than $98,000 in change from her employer, Home Depot in Ellisville. Court documents indicate the woman, Janet Sanguinett, 51, placed orders for coins for her employer between 2006 and 2009 as part of her duties as a vault associate. Rather than stock and log the coins' arrival, however, Sanguinett "pocketted" the change. She eventually confessed. Car Thief's ID Makes Him Easy to Identify If you are going to steal a car, it's probably not a good idea to leave your ID behind. A 1996 green Lexus LS was taken for a test drive Feb. 16 from Gallagher Motors on North Second Street in St. Charles and never returned. St. Louis police later recovered the car undamaged in the 7100 block of South Lindbergh Blvd.. The car thief was easy to identify because the car dealership made a copy of his driver's license before the test drive. UPDATE: Lake Saint Louis Police have issued a press release confirming that the Shell gas station/convenience store at 1001 Lake Saint Louis Boulevard was robbed at approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday night. While one suspect waited at the door, another forced the clerk at gunpoint to hand over $55 and 23 packs of cigarettes. Witnesses saw the two suspects run from the gas station and get into a white Chrysler Sebring. Lake Saint Louis Police immediately notified surrounding agencies. The department received information at 11 p.m. that a gas station on Truman Boulevard near I-70 in St. Charles had also been robbed and that the suspect's vehicle matched the description of the car used in the earlier robbery in Lake Saint Louis.
