Wentzville Couple Sold Heroin to Undercover Cop, Police Say

The woman's boyfriend also was charged after detectives found items in their bedroom, including a bag of white powder and drug paraphernalia.

A Wentzville couple is accused of dealing drugs after the woman sold heroin to an undercover officer Feb. 26, according to a St. Charles County Drug Task Force report. Jennifer E. Fischer, 37, of the 200 block of Wildflower Ridge Drive in Wentzville, was charged Wednesday with distributing a controlled substance and possessing heroin with intent to distribute. Her boyfriend, Terry Johnson Jr, 39, also of the 200 block of Wildflower Ridge Drive, was charged with one count of intent to distribute a controlled substance. A St. Charles County Drug Task Force detective said Fischer met with him Tuesday at the couple’s home and sold him heroin for $60. Later the same day, officers executed a search warrant on Fischer and Johnson’s home. …

Drug Task Force Nabs Man in Wentzville Buying Cold Meds to Make Meth, Police Say

Ricky Coppedge had 83.62 grams of pseudoephedrine hidden under his car hood and 13 grams of meth hidden in his dashboard, according to a court document.

A Greenville, MO man was arrested Feb. 28 in an ongoing investigation into buying pseudoephedrine for methamphetamine production. Ricky Coppedge, 32, of Greenville, MO was charged March 31 by the St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to make meth. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said they stopped Coppedge in the 1300 block of Forest Way in Wentzville as he was buying pseudoephedrine from a third party for $100. Officers also found a knotted plastic bag in his pocket that contained one gram of meth. Man Charged With Selling Heroin to Undercover Officer in Wentzville

St. Charles County Drug Task Force members said the man sold 10 doses of heroin to a detective.

A man is accused of selling an undercover officer 10 doses of heroin Jan. 10 at 910 Main Plaza Drive in Wentzville. Bryan J. Hallemeyer, 27, of the 2500 block of Oak Forest Drive in Troy, was charged Feb. 4 with distributing a controlled substance. A St. Charles County Drug Task Force detective said Hallemeyer agreed to meet with him to sell him the heroin. The detective said he saw Hallemeyer drive to the location and handed 10 doses of heroin to another man. Hallemeyer told the other man to throw the heroin into the detective’s car through an open window, according to the report. Hallemeyer acknowledged he was at the drug deal, but denied selling the heroin, according to court documents. He was being held in Lincoln County jail on Monday…

Man Pulled Knife on Detectives, Deputies During Drug Search, Officers Say

A St. Charles County man, who is on probation for 2009 drug charges, pulled a knife on detectives and St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies outside a home Jan. 29. After officers disarmed Thomas J. Rockenstein, he said, “I wish you would have killed me. I’m going to jail forever.” Rockenstein, 55, pleaded guilty to several drug charges in April 2009. He received a 15-year sentence, but the sentence was suspended and Rockenstein was placed on five years probation. Police: Man Nabbed For Making Meth Five Months After Lab Explosion Burned Woman

In September, a meth lab exploded in a barn on the man's property near Wentzille, injuring a woman.

A St. Charles County man faces a second methamphetamine charge about five months after a meth lab exploded on his property near Wentzville, burning a woman and setting fire to his barn. Dale Lenze Sr., 53, was charged Jan. 31 with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy accompanied a Social Services employee to check on the welfare of children living in a home in the 2800 block of Essex Street in St. Charles County near St. Charles. Wentzville Brothers Indicted on Drug, Weapon Charges

Drug Task Force detectives said the two have been the topic of an ongoing drug investigation.

Two brothers from Wentzville were indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury on drug charges Friday. Fabrian Jones, 27, of the 1400 block of Coco Place in Wentzville, was indicted on unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of drug-related items charges. Farrell Jones, 21, also of the 1400 block of Coco Place, was indicted Friday on distributing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug-related items. He lives near his brother, Fabrian Jones. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said while searching Farrell Jones’ apartment, they found ½ gram of heroin pre-packaged for sale in a small, knotted bag, a small amount of marijuana and other drug-related items. Couple Busted For Selling Fake Meth to Undercover Officer, Police Say

The man prepared sugar to look like methamphetamine to sell to the Drug Task Force detective.

A Wentzville couple sold a fake methamphetamine mixture made of sugar to an undercover officer Nov. 26, according to a St. Charles County Drug Task Force report. James W. Martin, 25, of the 1200 block of Continental Drive in Wentzville, was charged Nov. 29 with two counts of delivery or manufacture of a fake controlled substance. Heather Villarreal, 39, also of the 1200 block of Continental Drive, faces one count of the same charge. A Drug Task Force member said Martin prepared sugar to look like methamphetamine and gave a bag to Villarreal to sell to the undercover detective for $50 at their residence on Nov. 26. Mother-Daughter-Boyfriend Trio Trade Meth to Undercover Officer, Police Say

Drug Task Force detectives said they were going to trade pseudoephedrine tablets from the transaction in Wentzville for more finished meth.

A trio consisting of a mother, daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend were arrested on drug charges after selling fake methamphetamine and real meth to an undercover officer in Wentzville Sept. 17 and Sept. 19. Wentzville Man Busted Delivering Cocaine, Police Say

The man told police he would have sold the drug at $1,425 per ounce, according to a Drug Task Force report.

A Wentzville man faces a drug-dealing charge after detectives said he sold cocaine to an undercover officer with the St. Charles County Drug Task Force. Zakary S. Zorich, 35, of the 200 block of John Charles Drive in Wentzville, was charged Sept. 21 with distributing a controlled substance. Detectives said Zorich obtained and delivered more than 150 grams of cocaine. According to a Drug Task Force report, he arranged with an informant to deliver 6 grams of cocaine for cash to an address in the 2000 block of Coreywood Drive in St. Charles. When he arrived, he was arrested and had 6 grams of cocaine in his pocket. According to the police report, Zorich told detectives he would have sold the cocaine for $1,425 per ounce, a total of $8,550. …

Two Indicted on Arson, Drug Charges in Meth Lab Explosion

A woman was severely burned in the Sept. 3 explosion, which caught a barn on fire.

Dale A. Lenze, 53, and Kyle W. Green, 24, were indicted by a St. Charles grand jury Sept. 14 on first-degree arson, making methamphetamine and charges. Lenze also was indicted on a meth possession charge. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said a meth lab exploded in Lenze’s barn Sept. 3 in the 2400 block of Branch Lane in St. Charles County southwest of Wentzville. A woman’s legs and feet were severely burned and the barn caught fire. Lenze told detectives he saw the fire in the upper portion of the barn and heard the woman “screaming in agonizing pain.” He also told detectives he allowed Green and the woman stay in living quarters and make meth in the barn in exchange for a portion of finished meth.
