Man Caught with 30 Pounds of Marijuana Under Truck's Bed Cover, Deputy Says
A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy arrested Justin Hulet, of Denver, on Interstate 70 near Wentzville. After Hulet began trembling and stuttering, officers found 30 pounds of high-grade marijuana.
A Denver man was caught transporting 30 pounds of high-grade marijuana on Interstate 70 Sunday, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report. A sheriff’s deputy pulled over Justin R. Hulet, 34, of Denver, over for failing to use a turn signal on eastbound I-70 at the 205 mile marker near Wentzville. The deputy reported he noticed Hulet was trembling and stuttering, and seemed to get increasingly nervous during the stop. He also said Hulet’s story that he was going to see his sister in St. Louis seemed implausible because Hulet said he was supposed to cross the river into Illinois and stop to call her.
