Man Raped, Sodomized 11-Year-Old Wentzville Girl, Prosecutor Says

Mark A. Taylor was charged Wednesday by the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for subjected a girl to sexual touching and had sexual relations with her between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 in 2012.

A man faces criminal charges for molesting an 11-year-old girl in Wentzville. Mark A. Taylor, 26, was charged Wednesday by the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office with first-degree statutory rape and first-degree statutory sodomy. Wentzville Police said Taylor subjected the girl to sexual touching and had sexual relations with her between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 in 2012. The girl told police she had asked Taylor to stop, but he wouldn't listen. Taylor had been staying with the girl’s family at a motel in Wentzville at the time. Defense and prosecuting attorneys contended during a preliminary hearing over shooter's intent to harm the victim.

St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Thornhill on Tuesday denied a bond reduction request for Lester Davis, who is accused of firing shots Dec. 18 at another man inside All Cuts Barber Shop in Wentzville. During a preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon at the St. Charles County Courthouse, Luby and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jillian Anderson questioned the victim, Keith Young, the barbershop owner and a Wentzville Police detective who investigated the shooting. “People look at this and say, ‘You know what? He could go into my barber shop or the grocery store and flip out again and start shooting,’” Thornhill told Davis. “You did something very spontaneous and very foolish.” Davis is being held in St. Charles County jail in …

Homeless Man Robs Good Samaritan Before Stealing Car, Police Say

Joshua Frillman was charged with 1st degree robbery and 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle, and is being held at the St. Charles County Adult Correctional Facility on a $50,000.00 dollar bond.

A homeless man who was staying in Wentzville has been arrested for robbing a Warrenton man who was trying to help him and then stealing a car in Wentzville, police say. The story began on Dec. 30 when Ervin Yoder, 53, of Warrenton, met Joshua Frillman, 25, at a business in Warrenton. Yoder told police that Frillman had an injured hand and Yoder offered to drive him to the hospital. After Frillman was treated at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis, Yoder drove him to Wentzville, bought him something to eat and then took him to an address in Wentzville where Frillman said he was staying. Frillman then pulled a knife and demanded money from him, Yoder stated. Yoder complied, and Frillman ran away. The next day, a Warrenton woman …

Man Stole Car Hours After Being Released By Wentzville Police

The man had been arrested earlier in the day for burglarizing an Amoco gas station, police said.

Just hours after he was released from police custody on a burglary charge, Wentzville Police arrested a Warrenton man Dec. 23 for stealing a car. Lucas R. Allen, 30, of the 600 block of Third Street in Warrenton, was charged Wednesday with first-degree burglary and theft. During the early morning hours Dec. 23, Allen went into a back room labeled “Employees only” at the Amoco gas station at 1450 South Service Road, Wentzville Police said. An employee called to him that he was not allowed back there, but he ignored her. While in the back room, he put a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey in his pocket and left, police said. Wentzville Police have released the probable cause statement from yesterday's shooting at All Cuts Barber Shop in Wentzville. The suspect, Lester Davis, has a felony conviction in New Jersey and a history of altercations with neighbors that have resulted in the issuance of an order of protection against him. The victim of yesterday's shooting reported to police that both he and Davis were part of group of people at the barber shop who were talking about the Newtown, Connecticut killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The victim told police that he told the group that the Connecticut shootings made him want to murder the killer. Davis then said, "You want to murder me?" Shots Fired at Wentzville Barber Shop; Suspect in Custody

UPDATE: KMOV reported that the suspect walked into the shop with a gun in a paper bag and fired shots at a customer's feet. The customer was not injured. Original story: At 11:38 this morning, Tues., Dec. 18, police received a report of shots fired at the All Cuts Barber Shop in the 100 block of West Pearce Boulevard. A press release issued by the Wentzville Police Department stated that witness reported seeing a subject leave the business with a gun. The suspect entered a black sedan-style vehicle and left the area. Police identified the suspect and searched the area. Two Men Broke Into Wentzville House With Children Home

Wentzville Police said the two men live near the home; they kicked in a door to enter the house.

Two men kicked in a door to burglarize a house in the first block of Warsen Avenue near Wentzville on Wednesday and found two children at home, police said. Robert Mohrmann, 54, of the first block of Warsen Avenue, and Matthew Burnett, of the 200 block of Shade Tree Court in Lake Saint Louis, were both charged Thursday with first-degree burglary. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said that after kicking in the door, Burnett searched the house even after he saw that a girl was home. Two children were in the home, a 13-year-old and a 6-year-old girl. Mohrmann, who lives down the street from the house, told the deputy he left after he saw the girl in the home.
