Teen Admits to Molesting Children at In-Home Daycare

Jacob Dolson, 17, who was charged with molesting children at his mother's in-home day care, could receive a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.

A Wentzville teenager pleaded guilty Tuesday to sodomizing children who were being cared for at his mother’s in-home daycare. Jacob Dolson, 17, of the 600 block of Northview Court in Wentzville, pleaded guilty to seven counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of first-degree child molestation, and one count each of statutory rape and sexual misconduct. Dolson originally was charged with molesting an 8-year-old girl, and during an investigation into the incident, prosecutors found additional incidents, said St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar. Dolson is scheduled for sentencing July 11. Sentencing possibilities for the sodomy and rape charges range from 10 years to life in prison. “We don’t get to recommend a …

Man Charged With Burglary Also Indicted On Child Molestation Charges

St. Charles County Sheriff's investigators said Matthew Burnett, of Lake Saint Louis, broke into a home and sexually touched a 13-year-old girl.

A man previously charged with burglary has been indicted on child molestation charges in the same incident on Dec. 12. Matthew Burnett, of the 200 block of Shade Tree Court in Lake Saint Louis, was indicted April 5 by a St. Charles grand jury on two counts of child molestation and one count of second-degree burglary. Patch reported earlier that Burnett is accused of breaking into a St. Charles County home near Wentzville Dec. 12. According to a Sheriff’s Department report, Burnett and Robert Mohrmann, 54, of the first block of Warsen Avenue, kicked in the door to the home. Two young girls ages 13 and 6 were in the home. Mohrmann left when he saw the girls, according to a Sheriff’s Department report. An investigator said that Burnett …

Man Gets Five Life Sentences for Molesting Children

The man pleaded guilty in August to 11 sex crimes, including sodomy, rape and child molestation.

A St. Charles County man was sentenced Friday to five life sentences after pleading guilty to molesting three children and possessing child pornography. Harley J. Smith, 37, of St. Charles County, pleaded guilty Aug. 28 to four counts of statutory sodomy, two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of statutory rape, one count of statutory rape, sexual misconduct involving a child and two counts of child pornography possession. St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Ted House on Friday sentenced Smith to five life sentences plus 34 years in prison on the charges. The crimes took place between October 2008 and January 2012. according to court documents. Each of the three children were less than 12 years old during the crimes. …

Wentzville Teen Indicted on Child Molestation Charges

The 17-year-old faces six criminal charges, including statutory sodomy, child molestation and statutory rape.

A Wentzville teenager was indicted Friday by a St. Charles grand jury on several criminal charges after police said he molested an 8-year-old girl. Jacob Dolson, 17, of the 600 block of Northview Court in Wentzville, was indicted on three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, and one count each of sexual misconduct involving a child, first-degree child molestation and first-degree statutory rape. Wentzville Police said in a report that Dolson admitted sexual contact with multiple young girls. His next scheduled court appearance is at 9 a.m. Oct. 10. Wentzville Teen Charged with Molesting Child

Wentzville Police said he twice had sexual contact with an 8-year-old.

A Wentzville teenager was charged Saturday in St. Charles County Circuit Court with two counts of molesting a child. Wentzville Police said in a report that Jacob T. Dolson, 17, of the 600 block of Northview Court, twice had sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl on Friday. He is being held in St. Charles County Jail in lieu of a $35,000 bond. Corey Brown Sentenced to Two Consecutive Life Terms + 30 years

Judge calls Brown's behavior "not only a destruction of his life, but also the lives of his wife and children."

Corey Brown will serve two consecutive life terms plus 30 years in prison for committing acts of child molestation, rape and sodomy on his eight- and nine-year-old stepdaughters over a period of three years. Brown, 46, was arrested by Lake Saint Louis police on Dec. 15, 2010 and charged with two counts of statutory rape, six counts of statutory sodomy and two counts of child molestation. Prior to sentencing, Judge Nancy Schneider said, "I do believe that this is the most shocking and egregious case I've ever had to hear about in court."
