What in the world happened? Did you open it too early??? The traffic jam was ridiculous. It wasn't as bad when the new highway wasn't "open". Why would you close down 3 lanes on opening day? Very disappointing and a big waste of commuters time and fuel.   more ›

I love pumpkin pie as well and I think some cream cheese adds a great flavor. Maybe just about 3oz for a normal size pie, soften and mix in with all the pie filling ingredients.   more ›

What irony, or should I say hypocrisy, that the republican party would preach its message of lower taxes, less government regulation, and more freedom AND locate its headquarters in the one city (St. Peters) that has the highest taxes, the most government regulation, and allows the least freedom of any city in the entire county.   more ›

Ask the Patch Pro: Photography Experts Ready to Share Tips and Tricks

Our panel of experts are waiting in the comments to answer all your questions about photography in the first installment of Ask the Patch Pro.

Taking pictures can be a fun hobby, but it can also be very frustrating.  Sometimes your pictures turn out great—worthy of a framing. Other times? Well let's just say it's a good thing most cameras are digital now and you didn't waste time (and money) getting the pictures developed.  What makes a good picture? Is it the camera, or the person operating the camera? Can you get a good picture on an iPhone?  In the latest edition of "Ask the Patch Pro" we want to find the answers to those, and other, photography questions. But we needed some help.  We don't have the answers to those (and your) questions, but not to worry. We've compiled a crack team of experts to help us out. Meet the experts:  Got a question for our experts? Ask below!

I found early on with my first digital point and shoot that it was difficult to get an action shot due to the slight delay from the time you "pull the trigger" and the actual shot being taken. As a result I missed the action I wanted due to the delay! I have since moved on to the digital SLR cameras that did not have this issue. Why is there a delay in the older point a shoot, specifically the …   more ›

I will say this though, if your workout consisted heavily of muscle training or if you performed your reps to exhaustion, make sure you stretch those muscles afterward. On …   more ›
