Joan Bloecher, Neighbor

My husband John and I moved to Lake St Louis in 2008 after marrying in 2007.  We had both lost spouses and were looking for a place, with a lake,  to combine our lives. John had owned property at Lake of the Ozarks and had passed Lake St Louis by for over 30 years. Since we both had homes to sell, his in ChesterfieldMo and mine in Ofallon Mo, we knew we didn't want to retire down at Lake of the Ozarks. However, between us we have 17 grandchildren and wanted to stay close by.  

There is so much to do in this community. We are Commodores of the Pontooneers Club and John is involved in Ambassadors and both of us enjoy golfing.  We enjoy dancing to music on the lake and also dinner and dancing at the clubhouse.

Sunsets on our pontoon boat are awesome and just cruising is a great way to relax. We are really enjoying our retirement in our lakeside home and can't imagine living anywhere else.
