He is better, thanks Lauren! No, they never told us--maybe just some irritation in his boy parts against the diaper. Urine tests were normal. He doesn't seem 100% but not at all like the other night!

Kate,
Knowing that someone got something out of this makes me so happy. That is why I wrote it because I know there are other women out there who have experienced the emotional distress I have. I love my son but I feel like I was robbed, I am not the same person and almost in a bad way. I am always here if you need someone! (you can click on my name to email me). Give those girls a big hug tonight!! PS-I wouldn't be surprised to hear I was put on watch too, I was beyond devastated that week I was in the hospital. -

Ashley, we plan on having a doula assuming we have another child. I have learned so much since our son was born. I am glad to hear that you had such a great experience for your third!

ReplyI was up late working and the minute I laid my head on the pillow, the sirens went off. I jumped up, shook the husband (who said "What? I don't hear anything." and went back to sleep). I checked the weather online, nothing. I was then freaking out convinced we were being attacked by aliens or something and called non emergency police. She told me what was going on. Then I was wide awake until they went off, not the best 45 minutes of my life but oh well.
