I'm a north county kid from Hanley Hills.  I fell in love with my wife Ruth in 7th grade but we didn't really start dating until after college.  My background is stocks/investments and I was a small business owner.  I have 3 children, Blake who is a Senior Vice-President with a local bank, Kelsey who is a Senior at a local college and our Johnny who we lost at the age of 4 to a careless truck driver on March 5, 1991.  I'm a published poet and I write for a couple of different bereavement publications.  My poems and articles have been published around the globe.  That led me to continue my education and now I counsel bereaved parents on a pro bono basis.  I have three beautiful grandchildren, Harper Belle, Thatcher Brooks and Ellis Blake. I'm a avid hunter and shooter and participate in a sport called cowboy action shooting. I'm a Christian whose roots are solidly planted in Judaism and I'm a conservative with a streak of Libertarian.

I like long walks on the beach, curling up by a roaring fire with a good book and a bottle of mad dog 20/20.... just joking, or am I?????;-)>
