Splash Station Construction More Than Half Complete

Wentzville's new aquatics center, Splash Station, is now 60 percent complete.

Interim Public Works Director Doug Lee reported on construction progress at last week's board of aldermen meeting.

Lee said that the dive pool had been tested and passed and that backfill would begin soon.

The building that will house admissions, concessions and restrooms now has roof sheeting and electrical work is progressing.

Crews are working on the lap lane pool and piping for the therapy bench and lazy river.
