4th Annual Pound the Pavement for the Parks

The 4th annual Pound the Pavement for the Parks 5k/10k run will be held on Saturday August 24, 2013 in beautiful downtown Wentzville, MO.  It will be held in connection with the Wabash Days Festival which will be taking place all weekend.  Online registration is available athttp://www.bigriverrunning.com/racecalendar.php#pound.  The race will be timed and certified by Big River Running Company.  The race begins at 8 am and there will be some entertainment and refreshments after the race including the medal ceremony.  Top overall male and female and top three in each age group will receive medals.  Early packet pick up will be available on Friday, August 23rd from 8 am to 7 pm at the Big River Running store located at 2548 Hwy K  O'Fallon, MO 63368 (636) 379-3888.

All money raised will go to Friends of the Wentzville Parks.  Their mission is to provide a world-class parks and recreation department in the City of Wentzville, MO.  The website for the organization is under construction, but check us out on facebook.
