Driver Falls Asleep, Causing Early-Morning Crash
Ashley A. Strini, 19, and Christina M. Strini, 19, of Wentzville both sustained minor injuries.
Christina M. Strini, 19, of Wentzville, was eastbound on Interstate 70 in Cooper County early Sunday morning in a 1997 Honda Accord when she fell asleep, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The car went off the right side of the roadway about 2:45 a.m. and struck a sign.
Both Christina Strini and passenger Ashley A. Strini, 19, sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to Cooper County Memorial Hospital.
